I have been playing poker online for about 6 years. I have had some success with several tournament cashes over $1000 and a couple over $5000, but I think I can do much better. Poor bankroll management has cost me and I want to fix that. Too many times in the past after a big win I would sit a tables where the stack was too high for my bankroll and lose a good portion of my winnings in one sitting. I have still managed to make money and my losses have pretty much always come from money I won, but I want to keep the money I win, not give it back with undisciplined play.
I am hoping this blog with help me with this. I have set a goal of turning $50 into $50,000. I am going to track my results and publish them for anyone to see who wants to.
I will be putting in place specific bankroll management rules as I progress which I plan to follow strictly.
I will be sharing my successes and my failures in order to learn from both and continue to improve my game.
